The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Radiation Oncology

Radiation Oncology is a specialty clinic dedicated to providing the best care for our patients and their families. Our patient population is comprised of active duty and retired personnel and their family members. The scope of service is broad and encompasses evaluation and treatment for all cancer types and certain benign tumors. Our radiation oncology team will work with you and your family to help you understand your options and identify the best treatment plan. We work closely with other specialty clinics at the hospital and with Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to maintain the highest quality of patient- and family-centered care.

    • Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy
    • Image Guided Radiation Therapy
