The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Neurology

The The Department of Neurology is a multi-functional tertiary care department providing the full spectrum of general neurology specialty care and neurologic sub-specialty care. Services are for the diagnosis, treatment and education of diseases involving the central, peripheral and autonomic nervous systems. The diagnoses that are commonly treated in our Neurology Clinic are: migraines/headache syndromes, neuropathies, multiple sclerosis, vertigo/dizziness and organic brain syndromes (i.e. Alzheimer’s).

The department also participates in many vital clinical research projects and programs including the Defense & Veterans Brain Injury Center.
