The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

OPM Inclement Weather Operating Status
and Early Closure Information, February 11, 2025

The Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC) and its outlying health centers at Dumfries and Fairfax are OPEN (WITH THE OPTION FOR UNSCHEDULED LEAVE OR TELEWORK) Tuesday, February 11, 2025, however ATAMMC and its outlying clinics will CLOSE at 2 p.m. February 11, 2025 in accordance with OPM inclement weather guidelines.
All scheduled in-person routine and acute appointments before 1:00 p.m. will continue on schedule unless otherwise announced.
All routine and acute appointments scheduled after 1:00 p.m. are cancelled. Clinical staff will reschedule cancelled appointments directly with patients.

The Post Exchange pharmacy will close today at noon and the Main Hospital Outpatient pharmacy will close at 2:00 p.m. Please use the Q-Anywhere 24/7 system to activate your non-emergent prescriptions. Prescriptions will be processed in the order they are received when the pharmacy reopens.

The Outpatient Laboratory will close at 2 p.m. today.

Emergency Room and inpatient services remain open.

If your appointment is to take place Tuesday, February 11th, and you would like to verify it is still scheduled, please contact the appropriate clinic.

All Tele-Health appointments will continue as scheduled unless you are contacted by the clinic to reschedule.
