The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Hospital Operating Status Friday, December 24, 2021

Christmas Federal Holiday Observance

Date: 12/23/2021

In accordance with OPM guidelines, Fort Belvoir Community Hospital and its outlying health center at DiLorenzo (Pentagon) will be CLOSED for routine operations December 24, 2021 in observation of the Christmas Federal Holiday. 

The outlying health centers at Dumfries and Fairfax will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Regular hospital operations will resume on Monday, December 27, 2021. 

Emergency Room services remain open.

The COVID-19 Testing and Vaccine Clinics follow all OPM guidelines and will also be CLOSED

On Monday, December 27, the COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic will reopen, for appointments only, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the COVID-19 Testing Clinic will be open from 8 a.m. to Noon.
