We fill new prescriptions and refills at no cost for covered medications for TRICARE beneficiaries. Beneficiaries may also receive medications using TRICARE Home Delivery or a TRICARE Network Pharmacy.

Filling New Prescriptions

We fill prescriptions from both military and civilian providers.

Providers from Our Facility

Your provider may submit a prescription directly to the pharmacy during or after your appointment. 

Civilian Providers

If you have prescriptions from a TRICARE-authorized civilian provider:

  • The provider can submit an electronic prescription to our pharmacy, or
  • We do NOT accept HARD copy prescriptions.

To submit an electronic prescription:
Ask your provider to select the:

Activating New Prescriptions

You can request prescription filling remotely with Q-Anywhere by texting ‘Get in Line’ or at the activation Kiosk to the right of the pharmacy. See Option 1 under Activating New Prescriptions below.

Fastest and Preferred

Text “Get in line” to 1-877-909-2513 and select the secure weblink to start your prescription request, or Visit the Q-Anywhere Web Portal (https://cxmlink.com/Dilorenzo) directly on your computer or smart phone.

NOTE: We recommend using the Q-Anywhere web portal as phone service is not always available in the Pentagon. Keeping the browser open will allow you to know when the prescription is ready and communicate with the pharmacy. 

Requesting Prescription Refills

  • Remember, all refills should be submitted 5 business days before your prescription expires.
  • Turnaround time for refill requests can take up to 3 business days. 
  • Refills will be dispensed from our ScriptCenter® except for certain controlled medications, refrigerated medications, and oversized medication packages. 
    • Prescriptions are kept ready for your pick-up for 14 days before being returned to general stock.

For Phone Refills

  • Step 1: Call 1-800-377-1723, option 2 for pickup at an Army facility
  • Step 2: For facilities in Virginia, option 2
  • Step 3: For DiLorenzo Pharmacy, option 5
  • Step 4: To refill or check the status of prescriptions, option 1
  • Step 5: Enter the last four numbers of the sponsor’s social security number, and then #
  • Step 6: Enter the eight digits of the prescription number, and #
  • Step 7:
    • To refill the prescription, option 1
    • To check the status of the prescription, option 2
    • The system will then inform you if the prescription is able to be refilled and when it will be ready

For MHS GENESIS Refills

  • Step 1: Login to MHS GENESIS Patient Portal
  • Step 2: On Upper right-hand corner, Select More and Choose “Rx Refills
  • Step 3: Choose the patient for whom you are refilling a medication 
  • Step 4: Select the medication you wish to refill
  • Step 5: Click next in the left lower corner 
  • Step 6: in the select MTF field type “National Capital Region – Army” then click Search
  • Step 7: Select “Pentagon: DiLorenzo Health Clinic Pharmacy” (it will turn blue)
  • Step 8: Click “Submit”

Picking Up Your Prescriptions

You’ll need a valid uniformed services ID card to pick up a prescription. This includes CHILDREN AGES 10 and OLDER. Prescriptions not picked up will be returned to stock after 14 business days. If you can’t pick up your prescription within this timeframe, please contact the pharmacy. If you’re picking up a prescription for another person, please bring that person’s valid uniformed services ID (or photocopy, digital picture).

ScriptCenter

  • Located at the main concourse after entering from the main metro station entrance 
  • When facing the pharmacy, the ScriptCenter is located to the right around the corner
  • ALL REFILLS will be available for pick-up at the ScriptCenter (First fills and renewals for existing prescriptions will be picked up at the window).
  • EXCEPT: for certain controlled medications, refrigerated medications, and oversized medication packages.

TRICARE Mail Order Pharmacy Home Delivery
