Wednesday, January 17, 2024
The Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC) and its outlying health centers at Dumfries, DiLorenzo, and Fairfax are OPEN UNDER A TWO HOUR DELAYED ARRIVAL Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in accordance with inclement weather guidelines.
All in-person routine and acute appointments scheduled before 10 a.m. are cancelled. Clinical staff will reschedule cancelled appointments directly with patients.
If your appointment is to take place after 10 a.m. and you want to verify it is still scheduled, please contact the appropriate clinic.
Lieber and Tulley Gates are the two gates open for installation access. Tulley Gate is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Lieber Gate remains open 24 hours daily.
All Tele-Health appointments will continue as scheduled unless you are contacted by the clinic to reschedule.
All surgical procedures (to include Endoscopies) remain on schedule and will start on time. However, patients can contact the ambulatory procedure unit at 571-231-4185 after 6 a.m. to notify staff of a delay in arrival.
Emergency Room services remain open.
Non-emergency employees have the option for unscheduled leave or unscheduled telework (if authorized) for those with an approved agreement.
Employees should plan to arrive for work no more than two hours later than they would be expected to arrive. Military and civilian staff members who are unsure of their reporting status, have questions about the operating status of their department, or who may have difficulty getting to work due to unsafe conditions must contact their immediate supervisor.
Updates will be provided as they are received.
