The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

The Ambulatory Care Centers at Fairfax and Dumfries are community-based extensions of Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC) and represent opportunities for TRICARE eligible beneficiaries to enroll and receive Primary Care, selected specialty care, and major ancillary services.

  1. Ensure your contact information in DEERS is up to date to ensure your TRICARE eligibility for you and your family.
  2. Call TRICARE at 800-444-5445 to enroll at ATAMMC or the A.T. Augusta Ambulatory Care Centers. 
  3. Simply tell your Humana representative that you want to waive your drive time limitations and choose the MTF that is most convenient for you.
