COVID-19 Vaccine Update, June 24, 2022

COVID-19 Vaccine Availability, Ages 6 months to 4 years

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has authorized the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for children ages 6 mo. to 4 years. As such, we are now offering the Pfizer vaccine for children age 6 months to 4 years old.

TRICARE beneficiaries age 6 months and up, DoD Civilian employees, and DoD Contract employees are eligible to receive a vaccine with us. SEE MORE...

Upcoming Hospital-Wide Maintenance Water Outage

Operating Status During Planned Hospital-Wide Water Outage

  1. Beginning this evening, Belvoir Hospital will begin preparations for a planned hospital-wide water outage to perform necessary and required maintenance on our water system.

  2. The outage will take place from 9 p.m. on Friday, June 3 through 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 4.
  3. This water outage is taking place outside of normal operating hours; therefore, majority of our beneficiaries will remain unaffected. See below for Emergency Department specific information.
  4. Rest assured, proper procedures and training are already in place for our current inpatient population. However, beginning this evening, all EMS services and new admissions will be diverted to other local medical facilities. SEE MORE...

Outpatient Lab Update: Monday, May 23, 2022

Outpatient Lab/Phlebotomy Services Hours of Operation

Beginning on Monday, May 23, 2022, the Belvoir Hospital Outpatient Lab/Phlebotomy Department will be open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This change only effects the phlebotomy lab of the main hospital. Phlebotomy hours at our outlying clinics at Dumfries and Fairfax Health Centers remain unchanged.

We will continue to keep you informed of any further changes as we continue to provide dedicated care to each of our beneficiaries.

FBCH COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing Clinic Relocation

Beginning Monday, May 9, 2022, the Belvoir Hospital COVID-19 Drive-thru testing site will relocate from the Emergency Room parking lot to the Fort Belvoir Community Center in an effort to consolidate care and to better serve our beneficiaries.

The new address is: 10300 Taylor Rd, Fort Belvoir, VA  22060 and is located directly across the street from the hospital.

The clinic will be open Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. SEE MORE...
