Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center Primary Care Manager (PCM)

Provides primary care to include physicals, wellness visits, medication refills; referrals to specialty care.
  • Serves patients ages birth to adult.
  • For information and assignment to primary care services call TRICARE (Humana) at 1-800-444-5445.

Developmental Pediatric Clinic at ATAMMC

Developmental Pediatric Clinic for children who need a developmental pediatric evaluation to establish care for their children previously diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or need an initial developmental pediatric evaluation for a range of developmental and behavioral difficulties.

  • Referral through PCM or behavioral health.
  • To schedule an appointment call 571-231-1066.

Autism and Communication Diagnostic Clinic (ACDC) at ATAMMC

Parents/guardians attend clinic with child (siblings not allowed) for evaluation for Autism Spectrum Disorder and Communication Disorder.

  • Requires referral from PCM.
  • Certain criteria required to attend clinic; eligibility determined by Developmental Behavior Pediatrics team.
  • Required to pick up Developmental Behavior Pediatrics packet located in the River Pavilion, Reception Desk to complete prior to attending.

Autism Resource Clinic (ARC) at ATAMMC 

Local experts from medical, educational, military and community provide resources for families with children diagnosed with Autism. 
  • Clinic is for parents/guardians only.
  • Clinic is held first Thursday of the first full week of each month from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. 
  • To schedule an appointment with ARC call 571-231-1015, option 4.
  • Located in the Library Lecture Hall. Check-in at Pediatrics, River Pavilion, Floor 1, Reception 3, 7:45 a.m.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy

Applies evidenced-based principles of learning and motivation to improve socially significant behaviors, including social skills, communication, and adaptive living skills. ABA is used to support treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disorders.

Infant & Toddler Connection of Fairfax-Falls Church (ITC)

Helping parents and other caregivers learn how to find ways to help their child learn during everyday activities and routines within their natural environments, provides developmental screenings and assessments, and therapeutic support, in the home, childcare or other natural learning environment.

Exceptional Children’s Center

Services to include Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Therapy, Feeding Therapy, Orofacial Myofunctional Treatment, Augmentative-Alternative Communication (AAC).

Fleming Therapy Services

Outpatient pediatric speech, occupational, physical and feeding therapy to kids ages birth to 21 throughout Northern Virginia. We have 7 locations, Alexandria, Lorton, Chantilly, Woodbridge, Stafford, Fredericksburg and Glen Allen.
