The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

  • Back to School 2025 School and Sports Physical Rodeo
    July 25 and August 1
    8 a.m. to 3 p.m., BY APPOINTMENT & walk-in (availability permitting)
    Located in River Pavilion, Floor 1, Reception 2

    This year’s Rodeo will take place within ATAMMC’s Primary Care, Family Medicine, and Pediatric clinics, conducting physicals by appointment, and accommodating walk-ins when possible. Scheduling Information:

    • ATAMMC Family Medicine & A.T. Augusta-Fairfax Patients: Call 571-231-1803 to schedule.
    • ATAMMC Pediatric & A.T. Augusta-Dumfries Patients: Call 571-231-1015 to schedule.
    • All Patients: You may also send a message on the Patient Portal to your provider if you are enrolled at ATAMMC.

    Eligible children must meet ALL the following criteria:

    • Are between the ages of 5 to 18 years old.
    • Will be entering Kindergarten through 12th grade.
    • Enrolled in TRICARE Prime.
    • Overall healthy without any chronic medical issues.

    REMEMBER: School physicals are only needed ONCE when entering the county for the first time. Sports physicals for middle/high school students are needed annually AND must be dated May 1st and beyond. You may book into a regular appointment for a school physical as well.

    NOTE: The School and Sports Physicals day is not intended to accommodate well-child visits, preschool (ages 3 to 4), non-physical appointments, college-entrance physicals, acute care issues, or exams for patients with complex medical needs.
