The A.T. Augusta Military Medical Center will be offering Flu vaccines on Friday, October 27th, 2023, during Retiree Appreciation Day at the Wells Field House on Fort Belvoir.

Both the High Dose Influenza Vaccine and the normal dose Influenza Vaccine will be available for this event being held specifically for military retirees and their spouses from 8 a.m. until noon.

Our annual TRICARE Beneficiary Flu Drive is scheduled to begin at the A.T. Augusta Military Medical Center on Saturday, November 4th from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. The location is on the third floor of the hospital on the South Side of the Dining Facility, and is open to all eligible beneficiaries ages 5 years old and older.

Beneficiaries may continue to receive their vaccines daily during the month of November between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the following dates: Monday, November 6th through Wednesday, November 8th, and Monday, November 13th through Saturday, November 18th.

Age-appropriate vaccines will be available, to include the High- Dose Influenza Vaccine for beneficiaries 65 years of age and older.

NOTE: Patients of the Allergy and Immunology Clinic, the Family Medicine Clinic, and the Pediatric Clinic, and the Women’s Health Clinic may also receive their Flu Vaccine during an existing appointment.

For patients at the Fairfax and Dumfries Clinics, please use the MHS Genesis Patient Appointment Portal, which may be found on the health.mil website.

TRICARE beneficiaries can also receive flu shots from many retail pharmacies. Please visit the web at tricare.mil/flu to locate a network pharmacy near you.
