Fort Belvoir Community Hospital Pharmacy is transitioning to curbside pharmacy pickup only services in the River Garage starting Monday, August 17, 2020. Garage hours will be Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Prescription activation will no longer be available in River Garage, instead we ask that you utilize the following ways of activating your prescription before arriving.
Options to get your prescription ready for pickup when you arrive:
Audiocare/TRICARE Online Refill Request
- Call the refill number (800) 377-1723 or visit www.tricareonline.com to request all your refills at the Exchange Pharmacy.
- For less urgent needs, please fill out the information on the Prescription Request Form in its entirety. If your form is submitted before 12 p.m. (Noon), it will be ready for pickup in River Garage, Floor 1 after 2 p.m. or when you receive a text notification. If your form is submitted after 12 p.m. (Noon), it will be available for pickup after 9 a.m. the following business day.
Phone Activation
- Call the pharmacy at (571) 231-3224, select option 2, then option 2 to activate your prescription before leaving home. Once you receive notification that it’s ready, come directly to River Garage, Floor 1 for pickup. Additionally, you can call this number to let us know you are coming to pickup your medications you have already activated: Called or ordered to active duty service for more than 30 days in a row. or dropped off through the curbside service to speed up the pickup process.
TRICARE Online Secure Messaging
- Login to TRICARE Online Secure messaging and request your new electronic prescriptions to be ready for pickup at either the Main Hospital curbside pickup or Exchange Pharmacy.

NOTE: The Main Outpatient Pharmacy will continue with standard operating hours for the Emergency Department and hospital staff ONLY. Outside of curbside pharmacy hours, the lobby will be open for patients Monday-Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
