ATAMMC Operating Status for Monday, January 26, 2026

The Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC) and its outlying health clinics in Dumfries and Fairfax are CLOSED on Monday, January 26, 2026, in accordance with severe weather closure guidelines.
- All routine and acute appointments, as well as elective surgeries, are cancelled.
- Laboratory and Pharmacy services will NOT be available for beneficiary walk-ins.
- All scheduled Telehealth appointments will continue as planned unless patients are contacted by the clinic to reschedule.
- When appropriate, in-person appointments are being converted to virtual visits.
- Emergency Room services remain open. All emergency personnel will report for duty as scheduled.
Once the federal government reopens, patients may call the Integrated Referral Management Appointment Center at 855-227-6331 or contact the clinic where the appointment was originally scheduled to reschedule care.
Military, civilian, and contract hospital staff who are unsure of their emergency status, have questions regarding departmental operations, or experience difficulty reporting to work must contact their immediate supervisor.
