Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center Earns An ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group
FORT BELVOIR, Va. — The Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC) earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety. Leapfrog assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries and infections, as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.

NCC Family Medicine Residency Program at ATAMMC Achieves 100% Board Pass Rate Over Nine-Year Period
FORT BELVOIR, Va. — The National Care Consortium (NCC) Family Medicine Residency Program at the Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC) has solidified its reputation for producing exceptional full-scope physicians capable of providing leadership in diverse environments. Since April 2015, the program has seen 117 graduating residents successfully pass their board certification exam on their first attempt, consistently surpassing the national average scores each year. This remarkable achievement has resulted in a perfect 100% board pass rate over the past nine years.

The Rapid Return for Pickup (RR4P) lanes are for patients using our Q-Anywhere system to pick our medications. Once the medication is filled, patients receive the text that it is ready. They will return to the pharmacy, show the greeter or concierge the message, and then proceed to the Rapid Return for Pickup Lane.

Augusta Military Medical Center’s first baby of 2024 was born Monday, January 1st, 2024 at 5:54 a.m. to proud parents Air Force Senior Airmen Matthew and Mrs. Nicole Greely. Weighing in at 7 pounds, 11 ounces, Little Miss Scottie Greely entered the world and claimed the title of “First Baby of 2024”.
