Your safety, your comfort, your choice: Requesting chaperones at military hospitals and clinics

FALLS CHURCH, Va. — When you get care at a military hospital or clinic, your safety, comfort, and privacy are top priorities. The Defense Health Agency recently published its chaperone policy across all military hospitals and clinics worldwide. You can request a chaperone for any physical exam or medical or dental visit.

Military hospitals and clinics recognized with 5-star Care Transitions ratings

UNITED STATES — Fifteen Defense Health Agency facilities earned top marks from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for how well they prepare patients to leave the hospital, according to an analysis by Becker’s Hospital Review.

Transfer of Directorship Ceremony at A.T. Augusta Military Medical Center

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — The Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC) proudly conducted its Transfer of Directorship Ceremony today, marking a significant transition in leadership within one of the cornerstone institutions of the Defense Health Network. Rear Adm. Reginald Ewing III presided over the ceremony, welcoming Colonel Gina Adam as the new director, succeeding Colonel Elba Villacorta.
