Friday, February 19, 2021
Date: Thursday, Feb. 19, 2021
Fort Belvoir Community Hospital and its outlying health centers at Dumfries, DiLorenzo, and Fairfax are open under two hours delayed arrival Friday, February 19, 2021 in accordance with OPM guidelines.
Non-emergency employees have the option for unscheduled leave or unscheduled telework if authorized for those with an approved agreement.
All routine and acute appointments scheduled before 10:00 a.m. are cancelled. Clinical staff will reschedule cancelled appointments directly with patients. All Tele-Health appointments will continue as scheduled unless you are contacted by the clinic to reschedule. All elective surgical procedures remain on schedule. Emergency Room services remain open.
Employees should plan to arrive for work no more than two hours later than they would be expected to arrive. Military and civilian staff members who are unsure of their reporting status, have questions about the operating status of their department, or who may have difficulty getting to work due to unsafe conditions must contact their immediate supervisor.
Both the COVID Testing Clinic and COVID Vaccination Clinic hours follow local OPM guidelines, and will be delayed as well. Additional closures or changes in normal operation hours may be impacted by inclement weather.
Feel free to call the COVID Testing Clinic for any questions or concerns: (571) 231-0532.
For the most up-to-date information on the COVID Vaccine Clinic operations, please call the Vaccine Information Hotline: (571) 231–7777, option 1.
